Why is the battery in my scanner or mobile computer not charging?
Preventive battery replacement, Wi-Fi coverage audit and a general check of your scanners and mobile computers.
In brief. When the battery of a cordless scanner or mobile computer does not charge, manufacturers first cite temperature: charging stops outside its range, which is most often 0 to 40 °C or 0 to 45 °C, but 0 to 35 °C or 5 to 35 °C on some models. Next come a battery at the end of its life or not approved, a faulty cradle or power supply unit and dirty contacts. The charging light on the mobile computer or the cradle often shows which of these cases applies.
